Enshima is an island located south of Tennoji prefecture and west of Yokohama prefecture. The main city of the Emmaru region, Emmachi, sits on this island. Enshima is mostly made up of rural areas, but the districts near Emmachi are highly built-up and urban.

History

Enshima was formed after Lipan Railways drew up a map of Limaru, defining the waters around the server. In early 2019, the Namboku Line reached Emmachi, forming the city that we know today.

Before 2020, Enshima's building restriction was R, which means that only the owner can build on it. That has since been relaxed as Emmachi has been built up.

Geography

Enshima is made up of two parts: an urban north and a rural south. The south is mostly naturally-generated terrain using the terrain generation plugin, but the north, being built up before generation plugins were popular on Limaru, is flat land. Lake Toriko takes up a large section of the south, and the River Koi runs through Enshima, giving the island good water transportation.

Transport

The only track-owning railway companies in Enshima are Emmaru Railways and Koigawa Railways. Enshima is accessible via Tennoji with the Namboku and Emmaru metro lines, and via Yokohama with the Tokaido Line and other services on the Emmaru Main Line. Bus service 179 from New Traxia also goes into Enshima, terminating at Emmachi Bus Interchange.

Enshima serves as the port of entry for road vehicles and trains from Losning over the Great Enshima Bridge. Emmaru Line trains from Losning also cross this bridge into Enshima. Rail vehicles from Lexington island can also cross into Enshima via Manseibashi, and the Tokaido, Hanon, and Lexington lines from Lexington use this bridge to get into Enshima at Manseibashi station.

The Emmaru Line goes just about anywhere in the northern parts of Enshima. Southern Enshima is mainly served by manual Koigawa Railways trains, and buses. Enshima's main railway station is Hon-Madokashi station, although that station will soon be replaced by Emmaru Katsuragi station due to the former's terrible location at Emmaru West.

Architecture

Enshima mainly employs American and modern Japanese architectural styles due to its lore, starting as an American town, then slowly getting influenced by the Japanese. Colonial styles are also common, although not as common as in Lipan. Examples of such styles can be seen in Nijo station, which is a copy of Hsinchu station in Taiwan.
