The Lipan Line is a rapid transit line in Limaru, operated by Lipan Railways. Its name comes from the line running through the middle of Lipan. The line runs between Norden in the north of Lipan to Shortwood and New Traxia Central in New Traxia branching in the middle with local trains serving Downtown and express trains serving University before merging and continuing. On maps, diagrams and signboards, the Lipan Line is shown using the colour "Crimson" and its stations are given numbers with the prefix "L" and "Lx".
Overview
The Lipan Line runs from the north west in Lipan to south east in New Traxia passing through many important areas such as Lipan Central, Twee, Downtown, University and New Traxia. The line is the first line of Lipan Railways.
Services
The line operates two services a local and express. The Lipan Line is one of the few lines which express services run: express trains skip Moon Bridge, Lilydale, Marble House and Church Street. The line splits into two branches in the middle with local trains sharing tracks with the Namboku Line serving Bushlane and Downtown then branching off to Maybourne while express trains serve Elm Tree Curve and University.
Both express and local trains run at an average freuqency of 4 minutes per train.
