Sun Moon Lake is a lake located in the centre of YJJ City Island. It is the largest body of water in YJJ City.
Etymology
While the true origin of Sun Moon Lake's name remains unclear, it is widely believed that tribes that used to live around the lake named it after the sun and moon.
Transportation
Sun Moon Lake station is located on the west bank of Sun Moon Lake, which serves the YJJ City Metro Lake Loop Line and East-West Line, as well as the Sun Moon Lake Cable Car.
There is also a small pier located along the south-western bank of Sun Moon Lake, which serves as a popular spot for players to fish.
Notable Places
Spawn Building
Previously known as the Visitor Centre, the Spawn Building was given its name after the server's spawn was relocated from Mainland Limaru's Downtown to Spawn Building. The building has a unique ellipsoid shape, and at its core, a waterfall which goes from the roof of the building down to the basement.
The Spawn Building has an underground entrance to Sun Moon Lake station and a link bridge on the top floor which connects to the Cable Car Center.
Cable Car Center
The Cable Car Center is a large white rectangular building that houses the Sun Moon Lake Cable Car located on the top floor. The building also has an entrance to Sun Moon Lake station and to the Sun Moon Lake Boardwalk on its bottommost floor, which shops and restaurants located on the floors between.
Sun Moon Lake Boardwalk
A long stretch of boardwalk that starts from just outside the Cable Car Center and heads up north towards Round Town.
Parliament Building
The YJJ City Parliament Building is situated along the north-eastern banks of the lake and is used for holding parliament sessions by the Limaru government. The building has a unique donut shape with the main parliament chamber located at the centre of the building.
